“Not My Baby”, is the latest original musical from the creative mind of Momentum Collective’s executive director, Jason Ellis. Featuring over 20 local performers from around the DC metro area, the production explores multiple viewpoints on adoption through riveting dramatic presentations and pulsating musical numbers. This is the 6th in a series of socially conscious plays created by Mr. Ellis as he seeks to “edutain” audiences while stimulating discourse around subject matters that are rarely discussed at home, let alone on the stage.

Opening March 17, at the Richard Kauffman Auditorium in Alexandria, VA this production is made possible through the support of the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority and the Alexandria Department of Recreation Parks and Cultural Activities. Proceeds from the production will be used to support programs for low-income youth as well as provide a variety of scholarships. This is the first of several theatrical production in 2017 that MC, inc. will use as fundraisers to help support their outreach efforts in the community.
