For our 6th youth theater production, we present Little Shop of Horrors on May 14-16 at the Lee Center in Alexandria, VA. Featuring a cast of 50 youth from across the city, the audience will be treated to such familiar musical numbers as “Suddenly Seymore”, “Skid Row (Downtown)” and “Don’t Feed The Plans”. The production team includes the familiar faces of director, Jason Ellis, and choreographer, Rosslyn Burrs.

Little Shop of Horrors centers on themes of fatal ambition, greed, and the high cost of success. It explores the dangers of giving in to temptation, the exploitation of the poor, and the destruction caused by unbridled desire.

The musical features a mix of dark comedy, rock-and-roll, and doo-wop music, exploring themes of greed and sacrifice.
