The Alexandria Commission for the Arts and the Office of the Arts has funded the MPWRD Afterschool Arts Program for FY 2021-2022, as part of the City Arts Grant. We are tremendously appreciative of this financial support which will help cover costs associated with the program, to Alexandria youth who would have otherwise not had an opportunity to participate in high quality arts education within the city. This is the second year in a row that Momentum Collective has been funded by the Alexandria Commission for the Arts and we will continue being good stewards of public funds as we seek to use the arts to educate, enrich, and empower the lives of youth.
